As the north Eastern part of Alberta, WMU 501 is one of the most active migration routes for large Canada geese, Lesser's, Specks, Greys, Snows, Mallards (Green Heads), and Pintails.

Take-Em Outfitters is fortunate, as we are not only based right in the heart of this immense migration route, we are also located where the Alberta’s first grain fields offer birds their first stop over, on the beginning of their migration route. Therefore our hunters enjoy birds that have not encountered other bird hunters or pressure.

Our morning starts early with the smell of fresh coffee and a light snack. Then we're out the door and on our way to the rich grain fields where your hunt will take place.   As you climb into your blind, the anticipation will be high when you hear the whisper of wings beating, sometimes just inches away. Soon, wave after wave of birds will fill the sky clouding the golden rays of the morning sun. After limits are full and pictures are taken we'll head back home for a hot meal and some R&R. The remainder of your day will be spent exchanging stories, shooting clays, and watching birds for your upcoming hunt.
